By using your computer, you are vulnerable to being targeted by scammers, phishing emails, and malware. The ‘bad guys’ are out to trick you into giving them your money, your identity information, or access to your computer. They do this by appealing to your greed (offering a gift in exchange for providing them information) or fear (you will lose all of your files, your credit card was charged a large amount, …) in order to get you to do what they want you to do.
The most important thing is to resist clicking on links or opening attachments in your emails

This is the last week to enroll in my Loving Your Computer training over Zoom. In just 8 weeks, I will guide you to learn how to:
- Stay safe online
- Make your computer, browser, and files easier to use, and apply your new skills during the training
- Backup your files and protect your computer from malware and scammers
- Replace your frustration with using your computer with new confidence in using Windows
- You will no longer want to throw your computer out the window
- You will go from ‘computer illiterate’ to loving your computer
The training starts on Wednesday October 16th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm for eight weeks until December 9. All eight Loving Your Computer sessions are only $350.
