It´s the season to be merry! I hope that you are recovering homes and sanity in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian’s damages to our homes, carports, lanais, sheds, roofs and cars. My mantra to reduce stress and retain my sanity these days is “focus on one task a day to completion” plus saying NO to many events. Gratitude is healing.
I am grateful to have sold my rental home to a woman who lost everything in storm surge that destroyed her home. We are sharing in rebuilding the lanai, carport, house roof and shed. When she moves in this month, the house will be better than before.
I am grateful that Roger arrived from Ontario and undertook restoring our flooded guest bedroom. It has never looked so good, and is ready to receive guests.
I am grateful to ELS and Joshua Tree for cleaning up our yards, mounds of aluminum and tree debris after the Hurricane. I am grateful for the neighbors who decorated the Boulevard and clubhouse for the holidays. Our community looks so much better in time for the holidays.
I wish you a healthy, peaceful holiday season with your loved ones. Count your blessings and be grateful.
