HOW MY REMOTE SUPPORT WORKS

Yes, I am away from Florida and its heat for the summer. Yes, Call me if you need computer support. As long as your computer turns on and you have working internet, I can service your computer remotely.

 

I use a secure remote support program called TeamViewer. This is how it works:

 

  1. You call me to make an appointment.
  2. I call you at the scheduled time.
  3. I send to your e-mail, a link to install TeamViewer.
  4. You install TeamViewer and run the installed program.
  5. You read to me the ID and Password displayed when TeamViewer opens.
    (A different password is displayed each time TeamViewer is run)
  6. I enter your ID and Password on my copy of TeamViewer.
  7. At this point, I am connected with your computer. I can see and do everything I could do if I were sitting in front of it. You can see everything I am doing and can ask me anything on our phone connection. This may sound complicated, but steps 2-7 take about 5-10 minutes.
  8. After completing your service, I send an invoice to your e-mail.
  9. You may pay by credit card, Paypal, or send me a check in the mail.
