For literally years, my clients have asked me if I had a computer training class. No disrespect intended, my clients self-describe themselves as “computer illiterate.” I would joke that I would be rich if I got $1 every time I was asked “What’s a taskbar and where to find it.”
I finally listened to my client’s requests for computer training. Last summer, I created and piloted a training program “Learn Computer 101.” Members have given it good reviews and find the lessons useful on how to make their computers work better for them.
“Learn Computer 101” is a year-long program on the third Friday of each month from 1-2 pm EST over Zoom. The format is a 30-minute simple lesson and 30-minutes for interaction and questions. Members receive a glossary of computer terms, and each month the written lesson and a video replay of the Zoom session. Topics include: taskbar, start menu, desktop, browsers, bookmarks, minimize, file explorer, e-mail, passwords, windows updates, internet / Wi-Fi, security / protection software. The cost is $25 per month or $250 paid-in-full for the entire year.
“Learn Computer 101” is open for a limited time to new members. If this is the year you want to become more comfortable and productive using your computer, call me before January 17 at 239-567-0104.
I am committed to protect your computers at an affordable price. Thank you for trusting me to keep your computers healthy. Contact us at 239-567-0104 to renew your protection software, to join our monthly training program “Learn Computer 101”, or to schedule computer and printer help. Be well.
