I am excited to announce that I am offering something that my clients have been asking for: “Do you do training on computers?” The answer is now YES!
Many of my clients self-describe themselves as “computer illiterate”, and in many cases - no disrespect intended - I must agree. I frequently hear questions like:
- l “What’s a taskbar and where do I find it?”
- l “How do I find my desktop?” “I don’t have a desktop computer; I have a laptop”
- l “How would I know if I am on the internet, or not?”
- l “What’s a browser?”
While no question is dumb or silly, these show an unfamiliarity with the basic components of your Windows computer. If this describes you, then my new program is for you.
So … starting in August, I am offering a year long “live” training program “Learn Computer 101.”
HOW: 30-minute lesson plus 30-minute open questions, led by Linda over Zoom
WHEN: 3rd Friday of every month from 1 -2 pm for a year, starting August 19th - ending July 2023
COST: $25 a month - or one-time pay of $250 (saving $50) - one hour of my time and expertise at 50% discount.
TOPICS - one a month, include how to make your computer easier for you to use: taskbar, start menu, apps, desktop, browsers, bookmarks, tabs, pinning, Wi-Fi, file explorer, passwords, protection.
- l Glossary of Windows terms
- l Written lesson each month
- l Video replay of each Zoom session
- l Transcript of each zoom session
