When you have more than nine (9) files in a Library, it can be hard to find the file you are looking for.

Folders are a way to create personalized, named containers for your files, putting like items together (e.g., Community, Family, FL House, etc.). When you want to find a file, you look in the folder where you are most likely to find it.

Start with 3-7 Folders, containers for “like” files, and name the folders with a name that describes the contents of that folder.

To move a file to a Folder, select the file, hold the left mouse button down, drag the file to the folder name, and let go. TIP: wait for the navigation pane to “settle down” before letting go.
