DON'T POST PERSONAL INFORMATION ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Facebook has become a staple for people to stay connected with their family and friends, especially during the pandemic.

Avoid overly personal posts on social media, especially anything that contains phone numbers, addresses, and dates of vacation trips. Burglars and scammers can use this inforrmation to make you their next victims.

Avoid taking those cute "answer the question" surveys. The answers can be used by scammers to guess the questions and answers that are used to protect your account access.

Avoid identifying family members in your profile. The names of grandchildren can be used to run the "granny scam" to scare you into sending the scammer money immendiately because your grandchild is in grave danger.
