I Want to Tell You About Something I've Been Working On
A 6-week Zoom course to help you recognize scams, protect your computer, and keep your independence. I want to tell you about something I’ve been working on, because I think it might matter to you.
Over the years, I’ve sat across from a lot of people — smart, capable people — who felt embarrassed because they almost clicked on something they shouldn’t have. Or because they did click, and now they felt like they couldn’t trust their own judgment anymore.

Here’s what I always tell them: it was not your fault.
You were raised to be trusting and kind. To take people at their word. That’s not a flaw — it’s a good quality. But scammers have figured out how to use it against you. They don’t hack computers. They hack people. They use fear, greed, and urgency to get you to act before you think.
The good news? Scams follow patterns. And once you learn to recognize those patterns, they lose their power over you.
That’s why I created Computer Safety for Seniors: Recognize Scams. Protect Your Computer. Keep Your Independence.
It’s a 6-week course, held live on Zoom — so you can join from the comfort of your own home. Each week, we’ll cover one topic together in plain language. No jargon. No tests. No judgment. Just clear information and practical steps you can use right away.
This course is for you if you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by technology, worried about getting scammed, or just wished you had someone you trusted to walk you through it.
