I am thankful for many things this past year.
ü I am so grateful for Roger restoring the guest bedroom after a pipe broke and flooded it two weeks before the hurricane.
ü I almost have my homes fixed from the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian.
ü My 95-year-old Mom passed in January after breaking a hip in the midst of Hurricane Ian. I am thankful for her good mothering and her long life.
ü I was able to sabbatical in London, Ontario with Roger for three months this summer.
ü My health has improved following a four-month Cellular Health program. Even my doctor was amazed at the test results and my weight loss.
ü I created and launched a new value-added, year-long training program for my clients - Learn Computer 201. Easy to digest lessons offered over Zoom on the third Friday of each month from 1-2 pm for just $25 a month. The lessons give you more ways to use your computers to make life easier.
ü I am finally learning basic decluttering, organizing, and homemaking skills. It was necessary after the ‘flood’ boxes and Mom’s boxes all landed on the living room, dining room, kitchen, office and master bedroom floors! I thank Dana K. White for her remarkable book, Decluttering at the Speed of Life.
ü I look forward to the holiday season and another good year to be thankful for next year.
My new mantra is: Let it go. Create space for what matters. Space over stuff.
I am most thankful for friends, family and neighbors for their generous and skillful help and caring this past year. Our community is building back better.
