I am excited to announce that I am offering something that my clients have been asking for: “Do you do training on computers?” The answer is YES!
Many of my clients self-describe themselves as “computer illiterate”, and in many cases - no disrespect intended - I must agree. I frequently hear questions like:
l “What’s a taskbar and where do I find it?”
l “How do I find my desktop?” “I don’t have a desktop computer; I have a laptop”
l “How would I know if I am on the internet, or not?”
l “What’s a browser?”
l “How do I find an APP? What is an APP?”
While no question is dumb or silly, these indicate an unfamiliarity with the basic components of your Windows computer. If this describes you, then this training program is designed for you.
So … starting in August, I am offering a year long “live” training program “Learn Computer 101.”
HOW: 30-minute lesson plus 30-minute open questions, led by Linda over Zoom
WHEN: 4th Friday of every month from 1 -2 pm for a year, starting August 25th - ending July 2024
COST: $25 a month - or one-time pay of $250 (saving $50) - one hour of my time and expertise at 50% discount.
TOPICS - one a month, showing how to make your computer easier for you to use: taskbar, start menu, apps, desktop, browsers, bookmarks, tabs, pinning, software updating, Internet/Wi-Fi, maximize/minimize/close windows, file explorer, e-mail, passwords, security protection.
